At Phewa Lake, there is Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake on a small island. If you are at Phewa Lake you would want to go to the temple as well.
Davis waterfall is a stunning waterfall whose main source is Phewa Lake. It is just 2 km away from the Pokhara airport, so it is short distance travel. The name of this waterfall is after a lady ‘Davi’ who unfortunately fell into the falls. The water of this waterfall does not go to any river or lagoon. It disappears into a pitch dark hole and disappears in the caves which is the reason. It’s considered a different and a happening tourist destination.
Gupteswor Mahadev Cave/Temple
Near Davis Falls lies this cave which is a naturally formed structure that resembles the Shiva Lingam. It is believed to be old houses of people. This magnificent cave was discovered in the 16th century by the local people. It has great religious importance.
Along with this cave, there are other two caves in Pokhara. Chamerogufa (Bats cave) and Mahendra cave are also popular.
This sanctuary is another religious tourist site in Pokhara which is a Hindu-based religious sanctuary. You can view the beautiful sceneries of the mountains like Machhapuchre and Annapurna and watch Pokhara city as well.

Pokhara Shanti Stupa
On top of the Phewa Lake is Pokhara Shanti Stupa which is also known as the world peace pagoda. There is a sparkling white dome that was built as a symbol of peace by the monks. There are two tiers in the Stupa that are separated for religious people and tourists. You can go to this Stupa by walking through the jungle, hiking or by boating as well. Besides this Stupa, there are other monasteries in Pokhara like Shree GadenDhargay Ling Monastery and JangchubChoelingGompa.
